By downloading, installing, or using Waypoint AI (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Waypoint AI is a personal goal-tracking application that uses artificial intelligence to help users break down goals into actionable tasks. The App is provided free of charge and is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
The App uses Google Gemini AI to generate task suggestions based on your goal descriptions. This content is generated automatically and may not always be accurate, appropriate, or complete. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and acting on any AI-generated content.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated tasks or suggestions.

To ensure the App remains available and fair for all users, AI task generation is limited to 10 requests per user per day. We reserve the right to adjust these limits at any time without prior notice.
The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Waypoint AI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Content you create within the App (your goals and tasks) remains your own. We do not claim any ownership over your personal data.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
We do not provide medical, psychological, fitness, or financial advice. Any goal-related suggestions made by the App should not be treated as professional advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Waypoint AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the App or its content.
The App relies on third-party services including Google Firebase, Google Gemini, Bugsnag, and Expo. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of these services.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or the public.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Waypoint AI operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction.
